The Lucky Lager brewery was in Vancouver Washington. "Lucky" was a good bargin beer. I remember in Alaska fishing in the later 60's, the dock at Craig had cases piled high with lucky stubbies. If you popped a top and it said "Lucky" on the bottom of the cap, you got a free 6 pack. By the way the beer was not refrigerated, it went into the ship's ice locker. The factory was torn down some time in the late 70;s if I recall and bought and shipped to China. That was about the time Tao Sting (Spell?) came out so we night put two and two together? Back in the early 50's I wuz in southern nevada at a air installation. We
had A1 and Lucky Lager at the beer garden on base. Took a lot of that stuff
for a buzz but the trips to the latrine kept us busy.
