[SOC] beer

Lucky Lager in Vancouver Washington use to make Beer Beer in stubbies.  Like you said, plain white label, black letters that simply said Beer.  So naturally we asked for a case of "Beer Beer".

There was a beer response earlier regarding Ralphs (grocery store) 'BEER".
That's all that was on the label unless you looked at the tiny print on the
back. Was made for Ralphs by 'Lone Star' beer of San Antonio, TX... Actually
a pretty good beer.  I used to take it a party and when I unloaded the bag
with all these white cans that just said BEER, I would get some pretty bad
looks. About 99 cents a 6 pack... California.. Sushi and Ralph's BEER!!!

Back in the early 50's I wuz in southern nevada at a air installation.  We 
had A1 and Lucky Lager at the beer garden on base.  Took a lot of that stuff 
for a buzz but the trips to the latrine kept us busy.
