Art - W6KY,
One other note: Pacifico Beer seems to taste the same (to me) on either
side of the border. Maybe the same bad shipping and handling technique
(or same brew formula) is utilized. However, after heavy labor in the
field beneath the hot sun, it is amazing how much better anything cold
can taste.
Please say "Hi" to Glenn - K6NA for me when you next see him. I used to
live a mile west of his QTH (Nordall Rd) off Rock Springs Rd. when he
lived in San Marcos. At the time he was Mgr. of HRO in Kearny Mesa, and
my callsign was AJ6L in those days. Let him know that I use his TRAM
technique. It works well, even with #350 pound load (extra thickwall 4"
boom on the M2 40M3FS-125) at 140 feet above ground level.

Hi Tom,
Fat Ivors! Bean there with Glenn and family.. Good place, but, but, but
still not near Missouri and Tennessee BBQ. Mexican beer is shipped up
here just to get even for the treaty of GUADALUPE HIDALGO, FEBRUARY 2,
1848 which states: IN THE NAME OF ALMIGHTY GOD The United States of
America and the United Mexican States animated by a sincere desire to
put an end to the calamities of the war, Mexico will ship all our crap
beer to The United States..

Art - W6KY,
What is the name of the BBQ Place up the hill from you in Valley Center?
(Fat Ivan, or similar) - K6NA would know the name. You may also know
that a Corona or Tecate beer purchased in California tastes different
than one purchased on the other side of the border (la frontiera).
Either the formula differs or the brew is adversley affected by shipping
and handling.

CALIFORNIA: BBQ ribs here are 'boiled', then dipped in BBQ sauce.
Served with a Corona of course..
Haven't had good BBQ ribs since I left MO, except for RJ Ribsters in
Washington DC..With a loaf of rings!
