In Mexico, Men drink Tecate because it is one of the few Mexican beers that come  in cans.  Drinking beer out of cans in Mexico is very Mucho Macho.  It is OK but I still pefer Pacifico.  When we cruised on our sailboat in Mexico, we use to say " when you are constipated and cannot go, have a glass of Pacifico"  it always worked. 73 Rich K8UV

I agree.  One of the most enjoyable beers I ever drank was a Tecate
after climbing the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan, near Mexico
City.  Of course, climbing that steep thing in the heat of summer
might have had something to do with it.

Come to think of it, the Coors I drank on the summit of Mt. Whitney
wasn't all that bad either.  It got a lot more attention from the
other climbers than my handi-talkie did!
