[SOC] SOC'er Certificate Dude Needs Your Help!

Hi Guys:

Well, first I have to admit it's been a while since I have posted to  
the group.  It's nice to see the slow, yet steady trickle of new  
members to our little family and I see we've passed the 800 member  
milestone, too!  Could it be the article in CQ magazine, perhaps?  Not  
sure, but it's fun anyway.

In any event, my local Club (Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club) is  
at it again.  Some of the members have threatened to put me in a Tutu  
again (See January 1999 Scope on their site: dubya dubya dubya dot  
centralmiarc dot com).  They are already at 147 and once they hit 200,  
I'm a dead goose!!!  AND, not only will they put me in a Tutu, they're  
gonna shave my head and mustache, too!  I mean, c'mon....there is only  
so much a man can do and I'm thinking I may have to relocate to a new  
State!

Please visit our site and drop an email to a Board member and tell  
them to stop trying to put Erv into a Tutu.  My kids are still in  
therapy after the last time.....and if I wait much longer, they are  
talkin about signing their pets up as Associate Members ($5), just to  
make this happen.

PLEASE.....do NOT download a membership form and join!  No matter how  
much they might beg.....don't do it!
