[SOC] Construction during Hamvention 2008

Hamvention is nothing to do with the ARRL.
It's basically organised by the Dayton Amateur Radio Association. It's 
their annual club rally.

Hara is by far the biggest arena in SW Ohio.

        With this much interruption, why doesn't the ARRL  Plan to hold 
the convention somewhere else, or is this too short of notice at this 
time? Should not have optional planning been done earlier. Is there any 
other similar venue in the Dayton area?  Just a couple of questions.
