Candid Camera was quite similar to "Just For Laughs" which ABC has been showing and was on BBC America (presumably also on BBC) in a different form a few years ago. Most of their bits seem to come from Quebec (it has ties to the Montreal "Juste Pour Rire" comedy festival), but some are from the UK. Bob N7XY
