Mr. Roske sir!  

I am overwhelmed by SOC-ness of my mis-statement and your overly
impressive knowledge of the subject. 

But then, I'm much to young to know much about vacuum tubes, or valves
as I'm sure you older folk called them in your youth.  Why, I'm barely
old enough to remember transistors :)
