Hi,

As the guest book is not available, here is what I would have written :)

----
Hailing as I do from the Great White North, the 'EH?' theme of SOC
resonates with me!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eh#Canada

Operating pedestrian mobile, bonus dits and dahs spot my morse, and my
speeling is awful, particularly for long words. The expressions, SRI
HR QLF, AGN?, SRI MORSE SUX, etc. appear with alarming regularity in
my QSOs.

Looks like this is the group for me!

Took me a while to realize that folks were sending "SO LID HW CPY?"
and not "SOLID HW COPY?" :)
---

PS.

Has anyone ever made an 'You may be an SOC if:' thing?...

... you used more than 2 rolls of scotch tape when you put up your 40m beam.

... your morse improves after a glass of beer.

... you framed and mounted your last OO report.

... you got QSL cards from SWLs on 10m, 20m and 40m for your last 80m QSO.

... you send RST 488 reports to contest stations just for the fun of
it, spelling out the 8s.

... you can't remember the morse for a comma, so you just insert a
random collection of about 5 dashes and dots between your city and
state, hoping you'll get it right some of the time.

... you had components left over last time you built a QRP kit, but
the rig seems to work FB so whatever...

Too funny!

71-75 or thereabouts,
Martin.
VA3SIE.
