Well Hank,
               We will have "met" at Rochdale, that was the last rally I 
attended before the move, it was a frenzy of buying all the essential items 
we hams find indispensable and virtually unobtainable. Pity the convention 
will be no more, but G3RJV is retiring, and he has put in some sterling work 
over the years.
The Manx beer comes highly recommended, its brewed under the Manx Purity 
laws:  water, malt, hops, yeast and nothing else, how beer should be. There 
is a fad in Britain at the moment for these super chilled beers,absolutely 
no taste,and the climate isn't usually conducive to a beverage that cold!

We must hook up if you are over for a visit, show the locals what 
Secondclass is about!
