Gentlemen; The subject of a "Sip & Solder" 40 meter
Vertical is an intriguing one with a long history that goes back, I
think to 1949, with articles by "Hash a fisti Scratchy", I think in CQ
Nagazine. Back then the beer cans were copper clad steel. I don't think
you can make a beer can vertical today because all the beer cans are
aluminum. I suppose you could join them with "heli-arc" welding but I
don't think the cans are strong enough to make a 33ft stack. TNX fer all
the laughs. Bert, K6CSl #763 in Riverbank, CA
