Remember the scene in Star Wars where Obi Wan has just used the "Voice"* on the Imperial Storm Troopers? Think of us SOC folks as being the weak minded. Now would you want our minds to be used by aliens to infiltrate our society? It is up to us to defend the universe against alien attack.
It is best if you wrap your entire body in foil and then attach it to an excellent ground system. Since most of us can at least bury a grounding rod we can do what our feeble minds are capable of doing to protect others against the 'Pod' people
* SRI the Bene Gesserit may object; should have used "Voice (c)".

Hi Bill,
As SOC, do we have viable thoughts and if we do are they worth screening?

Subject: [SOC] Thought Screen Helmets
Some time back, we had a discussion of thought screen helmets, which some of us wear to prevent space aliens from reading our thoughts. Someone advised that one can fashion a helmet from aluminum foil. This is certainly an SOC (i.e., cheap) solution, but is it really effective? Here is a site that has plans for an allegedly truly effective thought screen helmet, the materials for which can be had for around $35:

Good luck to all.
