[SOC] QRP Summer Foxhunts

Vann,

There really isn't much "hunting" involved. It's more "pileup practice" than a hunt. Which is also a good skill to hone. Somewhere between 14050 and 14070 (PSK LAND) you will find the "Fox"...normally the day before the hunt, he will post a message stating what equipment he'll be using, but they are not supposed to post the exact frequency.

Posting the Fox freq on the QRP lists is grounds for disqualification.

qrp-l.org is the only QRP list most of us use anymore.

It's good practice, you learn how to bust a pileup, you get very good at figuring out WHERE the Fox is listening, and it's a load of fun.
