We second class operators tend to be single-taskers I think [unlike my 
wife who can interrupt me with non-relevant trivia and still insist she 
is listening to me].  Most of us are busy trying to learn how to use the 
various knobs and switches on our radios.  I have one on my FT-847 that 
says "Menu," however when I press it, I can't find dim sum or take-out 
tacos.  Gotta work on that one.

I think it's just been quiet.  We could all probably use a bit more 
humor in our lives ... now that the election campaign has started some 
600+ days before the real election.  Thank God for TiVo.

At the BloodSource [Central Calif. Blood Bank] Donor Awards lunch today, 
the leader, Mike Fuller, told the story we probably all have experienced 
of being 7 and wondering if we were adopted.  He said he tugged on his 
Mom's dress and asked, "Mom, am I adopted?"  She replied, "Yes, Mike, 
you were, however they brought you back."

Now, feel better?
