Well ... not really ... Hanukkah or however else you choose to spell it
in the Latin alphabet are transliterations from Hebrew, so most anything
that gets the sound across is sort of OK. The only "right" spelling is
the Hebrew, of course. From that all-knowing source, Wikipedia:

"Hanukkah (Hebrew: חנוכה‎, also spelled Chanukah or Hanukah), also known
as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish holiday beginning on
the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may fall
anytime from late November to late December. It celebrates the
rededication of the Second Temple at the time of the Maccabee rebellion."

I doubt the Hebrew spelling with make it through the SOC reflector, but
you can Google [hanukkah"] and the first hit as usual will be the
Wikipedia entry. Be sure to pronunce the Hebrew from right to left,
otherwise it will come out "hahhk-u-nahh" which sounds vaguely like a
word that might mean "cat coughing up a hairball."

Happy Holidays to all, regardless of how you spell them,
