[SOC] [OT] Food question for Amerikuns

Following yer link, Cornish pasties sound pretty good. No such luck as
youngster. All I can remember was plain old turnip that nobody liked. Meat
was rationed and Cornish pasties would have stretched it like the modern
cereal fillers. We raised chickens and could have use that for the meat.
