Hi,

With spring coming I was once again looking at www.thewireman.com site and
feeling ambitious. Can anyone recommend the type of wire I should use for a
basic 40 meter dipole?

I'm looking at what the Wireman calls #511, which is 14 AWG seven stranded
copper clad steel. It goes for 9 cents per foot, for 100 feet lengths. What
do you think? Its just going to be a run-of-mill dipole betweem two trees
probably fed with 450 ohm window line. His number 551.

Thanks for any thoughts on this that you maight have,

Tom
