Naaahhhhh, even Second Class Operators know an urban legend when they see
--er, smell -- one. The truth revealed at:
www.snopes.com/horrors/gruesome/fivedays.htm . All the same, it is probably
true that no one will notice good work.

Hmmmm ... Maybe the co-workers were hard-of-smelling? It does happen
pretty quickly. I had one co-worker (this was a long time ago when
computers and punched cards were pretty much the same thing) who came to
work really drunk, every day. He would sit at his desk, with a small
handful of cards, and slowly shuffle them in his fingers, he did not
answer questions, and this went on for over a year. Basically, he could
have been dead, however he moved and still had a pulse. Not sure if
that mattered.

Yes, we both worked for the government ... a local entity I won't
reveal, but Don was still there when I decided to move on.

Fred K6Dm er ahh ... that would be K6DGW
