Here's a guy that gets it.  I get a request recently from Jeff (W6JK) 
with his SASE intact, but he forgets to request his SOC number from HQ 
first.  So far, so good...I send instructions to get his number from 
our esteemed Great Unknown Secretary and we are on our way.

Upon further inspection of his SASE, I find that it is an envelope from 
his Congressman, which he was affixed postage to and placed his mailing 
label over the Congressman's name and address.  Talk about SOC!!!  I 
love this guy already.
