[SOC] Cleaning up a PC board

Tom,

You can use compressed air to get rid of any dust build up on the 
component side. Built up flux isn't going to hurt anything and you don't 
have to clean it.  But if you want it to look "textbook" sharp, you can 
use isopropyl alcohol.  Not rubbing alcohol; just isotropyl alcohol.  
I've also recently have heard of people using ethanol.  Pure ethanol is 
hard to find.  A pretty close substitute (I've been told, ahem!) is 
Everclear.
