[SOC] LOG and introduction

Hi Bonnie, and welcome to the "club," such as it is.

Generally people don't give a year and also tell how old they were then 
because it's then theoretically possible to figure out how old you are 
now.  I say "theoretically" because it is quite unlikely any active 
member of SOC would be able to do that.  I started out to do it but gave 
up when I realized that 13 had two digits and 1967 had four, and I 
didn't know what to do with the extra three digits.
