[SOC] Hello from new member

Fred,
You cannot grant me competence; I do not deserve it :) I will maintain
my level of incompetence to the grave! I stumble through CW contacts and
flubbed my way to NCS standing. Folks seem to put up with me for some
reason though. My mother may rise from the grave and shoot me if I start
getting good at something. She will at least tell me of the problem if I
start to feel good about myself.
    Sincerely,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)

PS This is not intended to disallow other's increase in competence.
However, do so at your own risk since you may be banned from this list if
you get too good at something!
