Hi Nick, - CCCXXXXIIIIIIII - very SOC indeed.
In the finest SOC tradition there isn't a Roman, Greek or Arabic symbol for
zero, the Mayan's came up with the concept. So for Fr John, WB6MFS to use
the Roman system we need to pick a letter to represent zero. Capitol O
comes to mind as does A & Z, when counting you start at the beginning (A),
you want to end up with zero at the end of a business transaction (Z), all
very logical but not very SOC.
I suggest Q, which isn't use for much else anyway.
73,
Bob N0UF CCCCCXXI
for you SOC wantabees:
CCCXXXXIIIIIIII CCCXLVIII 348
CCCCCXXI DXXI 521
