[SOC] Veterans Day

I deliberately chose that subject in the belief most "Glowbuggers" come from the 
USA and I felt it appropriate to use USA terminology.

I'd like to think that today of all days, folks world wide would go out and hug 
a "Veteran".

Just to say "Thanks Mate".

If you are an ex-serviceman like myself and many here, then hug yourself, much 
better if your partnar does it of course. Heh! Heh!

For the "glowbug content" and SOC let us silently remember in our hearts all 
those radio men [no matter what service, whatever nationality]who have paid the 
supreme sacrifice.

WW1 to Iraq. Glowbuggers served.

No politics, just observance of those who have diligently served, especially 
radio men.

To my "glowbugger hero" Squadron-Leader Richard Robert Purdie M.B.E. serving as 
a "kid" in WW1 at age 16 where he learnt a valuable trade for the times. Served 
in WW11 and Korea.
