VERY TRUE!!!  Iraq is a "super Viet-Nam"!  You cannot win with the Islamics as their
values are completely different!  We had the same problem with the Japanese
during WW2, but the two nukes radically changed their demeanor!

We must also remember this isn't a war against the regime in the country of Iraq,
but a "religious war" between Islam and the "infidels" (US!)  The feelings are
not too different in most of the Islamic states, they look upon us as
second class humans.  Anyone who doesn't believe this should study
Islam and find out for himself!

When the militant cleric was holed up in the mosque with his armed followers,
we should have levelled the mosque and all its inhabitants.  This is the only thing
they understand.  Until we and everyone else realizes this, we will never win.
We won't win anyway, even if we wipe out ALL the Iraqis!  We still have the
Saudis, Iranians, Indonesians, Pakistanis, etc.  (all the Islamic ones in each
country
to deal with after that!)  The sooner we deal with it, the better.  (Before they
decide to use a nuclear device....which ultimately, they will, if they can!)

| regime.  They didn't have the guts to do anything about it, so they were
| stuck with it.

| despot...it's their nature.

| I have changed my views on Iraq. I now believe that the entire country is
| not worth the life of one more allied serviceman.

| Although I still believe that we were right to go in and kick some ass, the
| Iraqis show no sign of being able to help themselves.  We should leave Iraq
| now, and go back in ten years to make a deal, and buy oil from whatever scum
| rises to the top by natural selection.  In the meantime keep a close watch
| on the place by satellite, and destroy anything we don't like to look of
| without warning.
