Hi all,
I have been able to go from 35wpm to a solid 44wpm in about 2 months. I am
currently working on 49 with about 60% copy. Go to GOOGLE search N0HFF or for
a book he wrote "The art and skill of radio-telegraphy". You can buy it for
$11.00 or download the bood. Do what it says and you will be copying faster
code. I made CD's with 42, 44, 46, 49wpm which I play in the car when the
local QRM (XYL) is not in the car. I am retired so don't get into the car much
anymore but am able to do 15-20 minutes almost everyday. Code practice can be
played from the ARRL web site also. http://www.arrl.org/w1aw/morse.html.
The first thing you do is throw away the pencil/typewriter and start copying
words not letters. You copy language only by words so why not cw. Read the
book. YOU MUST PRACTICE EVERY DAY IF POSSIBLE, ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK WILL NOT
WORK. Hows that for a SOC answer! QRQ
