[SOC] [OT} Hail hits Budgewoi

While not on the scale of Florida Hurricanes, we were bucketed with a massive
hail storm around 8:00 p.m. last night. In a few hours we also had about 3" of
rain.

Lost power with a falling tree, that's restored now. Twelve hours later I still
have a foot of hail across the backyard this morning.

The saddest part for me is that I have numerous shrubs and trees absolutely
shredded. My vegetable garden and herb pots are wrecked. My Avocado seedlings
in pots are also under ice, too late now to save them.

Oh well, no one was hurt but a lot of rooms are really wet when ice blocked
guttering and rain overflowed inward.
