[SOC] FCC Adopts BPL Rules - Powell Gives Ominous Warning

Sounds like we need a few good 'pro-bono' lawyers to sue for "taking" our spectrum
space away from us. The only way to resolve this will be a court fight, provided
there are enough newspersons that will support the effeort. Which will be long and
drawn out. You can expect the FCC to throw every road block in to prevent BPL from
"not happening". I see no engineers on the Commission, only bureaucratic
politicians!

| You can start here http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2004/10/14/1/
|
| Now would be a good time to go out and buy a KW amp for two reasons ...
|
| 1) You'll need it to be heard across town
| 2) When you fire it up, you'll wipe out your neighbors BPL ISP service
|
| (Would that be considered SOC worthy?)
|
| Let the "fun" begin!
