I decided to stay a few weeks with mum, who is now retired and living in the
Lake District.  Basically, I'm too mean to pay for a hotel !  Got up a few
hills despite some dodgy weather and low cloud.

About 7 miles east.
We often use that train to get home when we have a day out in London.  I
don't know any of the dead, but it still gives you the creeps.

You just don't really know what's around the next corner, do you?
