       Yup, along with "for sausages, read hostages" and other
       good stuff.   I thought everyone had heard of it but I
       tend to forget that undergrads haven't been around as
       long as us old fogeys, nor of course been through the
       Brit eddication system and all that that entails.

       Time stands still when you teach - the students are
       always the same age, and you tend to forget that you 
       are decaying year by year.
