Maybe some time in the future you might introduce me to Amsterdam.
*NO* not that part, just the gentile part, fine food, fine wine, fine art.
OK I'm stolid

Yes well. Since I was a kid beginning school back in 1947 we had a heap of
Dutch kids who, along with their parents emigrated to Australia. We started
school together. Us "Aussies" and these strange kids wearing weird national
costumes. Not just the Dutch.
Gospel truth! They were weird. Many a fight broke out with us Aussie kids
"mouthing off" at these other kids dressed in an alien way. Many a well
deserved smack in the mouth I received back. {* see later]
I remember them so well. If I'd shown "due diligence" I also could have learned
Dutch.
I didn't. My loss.
Ditto German, Polish, Yugoslav [and its variants], Russian and hell the "whole
United Nations".

Read the surnames of all Australian's killed in Vietnam some 20 years later. It
is so sad.
