[SOC] Off topic (again!) - Aeroplanes

I was at my desk today and heard the unmistakable sound of a Merlin/Griffon
(I still can't tell them apart).

I went out expecting to see Rolls-Royce's Spitfire. (I work about a mile
from where it lives (Filton, Bristol) and the Spit normally comes out to
play on Thursdays).

So I went down to the car park to watch. Puzzled. Wrong shape. Wrong colour.

I think I saw my first WWII Mustang. Merlin engine; square ended wings.

Apologies if you don't like aeroplanes but I do.
