[SOC] For Bill and others

This was originally intended as a story about the vagaries of the life for my
dog "Gromit", I had visions of sharing "today's" news with Bill and others.

Unfortunately, to interfere with this "news" was a daughter who rang tonight
[minutes ago] to tell us she has shared in winning the $23 million LOTTO draw.

Michelle's share is around $350,000+ or US$ 240,000 more than enough to pay
mortgages off, credit cards etc.

Just enough to make valuable changes in your life, without changing your
lifestyle.

Onna back burner now is my original story. Here it is.

GROMIT my dog.

Today my wife, myself, and a close friend went out to lunch, around 11:30 a.m.
Carolyn had in the back of our vehicle examples of "lounge chairs" having been
savaged by Gromit and his mother. A later intention was to go to a shop and
replace the damaged material.

My daughter returning home noted the absence of some lounge material, figuring
Gromit and his mother must be responsible took action she now regrets.

Yes "Grommie and his Mum were blamed for the missing material" it was with us,

Being measured for replacement.

An eventful day indeed.
