Actually, I think operating CW may be their salvation.
Many mistakenly think operating CW is very Second Class.

Isn't it the perception of being Second Class that really counts?

In true SOC fashion, I just got around to reading my July issue of QST.
Well, what should I come upon but the results of the 2003 ARRL 10 Meter
Contest. I was taken aback to see that N4BP (SOC no.1) won the CW Only,
High
Power class, and that WD4AHZ (SOC nr. 540) won the CW Only, Low Power
class.
Let me point out, you two, that this is the SECOND Class Operators Club.
I
suppose we'll tolerate your competence, but I'm sure that none of us
encouraged it.

Actually, I'm just jealous. Congratulations. (Nice picture, Bob!)
