Possibly, BUT I was "lucky" I had the kind of father who fought for many issues
he believed in, he literally fought - sometimes fist and knuckles - he gave me
a great background of public service or "duty" to believe in, on the basis I
was "privileged".

I was intelligent, I was well educated and in my father's words above all, "I
was responsible".

beginning of the last century and went through three wars.

Given that background and considering the non-existent standards and values of
today beyond the seeming total idolatry of trash TV?

I was lucky.
