SWMBO and I stopped for lunch at Chick Filet, one of the more pleasant fast
food joints in the US.  We were greeted at the counter by Frankie, a lad
with a future.

Me (after ordering)  "...and we would like the old geezer discount."

Frankie:  "Sir, we don't have an _old_ geezer discount, but we do have a
discount for geezers."

Me:  "Wonderful.  The geezer discount sounds so much more dignified than the
old farts discount."

Frankie:  (drawing himself up to full dignity) "Sir, we would never offer an
old farts discount.  We prefer, instead, to offer discounts to wise and
mature citizens."

That lad has a future in politics.
