[SOC] Off topic

Hi all.

Completely off topic but I thought it might be of interest.

We have a dog. A two year old lurcher bitch (greyhound/deerhound cross -
looks like a fluffy greyhound).

My wife speaks to the animal in English using long sentences. I dismissed
this as being stupid. She's a dawg for goodness sake.

I've been at home ill for the last few weeks and have had extensive contact
with the animal.

She has a vocabulary of around 100 words.

Amazed me.
