Gents,

I have just received just about the most ludicrous letter ever.

I asked my local doctor for a referral to the Bristol Dental Hospital to try
to sort out my teeth.

The letter required me to fill out a form with name, address, telephone
number, hospital referral number and referring doctor's name.

They know my name and address. That's how the letter got here.
They know my doctor's name because he did the referral.

All the information requested is actually printed on the letter they sent me
with the exception of the referring doctor and my telephone number. Anybody
can find my 'phone number either from the local telephone directory or off
the net at www.bt.com.

What's more, if I don't respond to this pointless missive, they will take me
off the "17 to 21 weeks" waiting list.

What a bloody shower.
