[SOC] Ambassadors' letter to Blair (???)

Well, it's always been a bit strange, and it's getting stranger.

Even going back to the days of Margaret Ronald Thatchereagan, all our
leaders seen more popular on the opposite side of the pond than in their own
country.

Strange emotions are afoot over this side, and Tony Blair is finding himself
being slowly overtaken by events. Relations between the Brits and the
moslem world (both internal and external) are slowly decaying. Clouds are
gathering, trenches are being silently dug, and I regret to say that,
slowly, more and more of the Brits are being forced to start thinking the
unthinkable, and are slowly becoming aware of 'the enemy within'.

Given our history, I really cannot see the jackboot or the concentration
camp coming to Britain, but there is definitely a hardening of attitudes,
and things are being spoken of which have not been discussed for a very long
time.

Many of us will be eying the results of the imminent local elections with
unease.

Regards
Chris G4PDJ

Lord knows, OUR chief executive is SOC. I'm sure that more than a few
folks
in England think that yours is, also! (worked you 3 times, I think, Bob,
how
did you do? Florida QSO Party was fun, for those of you so inclined). 73
