Hmmm, may I safely assume you've had a "wonderful" lunch? The same kind which I
daily live for?

Ah yes, reminiscent of here today [monday]. Would you believe the weather
forecast is that we might see cloud and possible rain next Friday? I kid you
not...

Always a time of renewal, enjoy it to the utmost. I rejoice in your happiness.

Hmmm again. I wouldn't get that carried away. Last time I was there in 1990, my
wife, sister etc. arriving a month earlier than me, endured cold rain and in
phone calls to me when I was still in Sydney, weren't surprised our local
mid-winter weather was better.
A fortnight later, I arrived on my own, they were in Ireland and I sweltered in
London, rail lines buckled. Unbelievable unless you consider the UK and
possibly Europe and North America have no provision for heat.
As a NZ barman I buddied up with said: "Hell they have two weeks of decent
weather all year, who would spend money on catering for the heat?" Then that
obnoxious OZ TV programme "Prisoner" came on, the pub filled up and I drank
"free" amid the confusion for the next hour. Sweating...

Enjoy yourself mate, may you, your family and friends enjoy a most wonderful
and safe spring and summer. Same compliments to my North American, European and
anywhere else friends.
