You love them or you hate them. I spent a year in Germany in 1975/6 near
Saarbruecken. This is quite near Ramstein, a US AFB.
We'd regularly hear the double thump of an F something passing nearby.The
almost univseral reaction was to run outside and see what it was.
I *like* aeroplanes.
