I thought this announcement was slightly premature, realizing the international scope of our group.  (and being a Volunteer Examiner, myself) But then I recall (very SOC) that our friends in Canada celebrate the same holiday, and that California is now controlled by a new governor, and not folks from New Zealand or Mexico!
