Congratulations to England.

Unfortunately, I had a PC crash before that event which kept me out of the loop
until now. Literally Grrrrrrrrrr...

IMPRESSIONS? - the professionals

My professional colleagues [all Rugby afficianado's] can't believe what a
fantastic game it was?

They're still dumb-struck.

Even as close as it was, they are adamant it was a "just" result. [That
includes one fellow who played for Australia in the late 1950's]

Universally, Australians consider this an excellent "representative" result.

IMPRESSIONS? - me personally

Well, we flogged England in the "main game", Rugby League.

In the final event this week-end [overlooked by the media] Australia once again
triumphed.

Back to "Le Game", I watched the first 20 mins, switched to my programme [as
predicted] then came back [10:10 p.m.] to be astonished that they were playing
"extra time".

Will not comment on that. Matty Rogers got robbed on that "held" BS [by RL
standards].

Anyhoo, clearly England deserved their win. Equally, I believe New Zealand
should have been in second place.

Sorry Paul and Chris that I couldn't share this momentous occasion with you,
personally. DEAD F***'ing serious there.

On a serious note

A mate said to me today, with real tears in his eyes:

"Ol' Blighty deserves a win, we've had nothing but a gigantic succession of bad
news, this is a real tonic"

NOT ONE PERSON DISAGREED

Yea, hoo-ray for England...

Sincerely.

It was a wonderful competition, **it game, but as they say, it's the only game
in town, *NO* OZ won the "real" game last weekend, and on UK turf.

Anyone notice?

All comes down to your code.

CONGRATULATIONS ENGLAND - WELL DESERVED - A CLOSE BUT ACCURATE RESULT.

>From what I'm told, it was a brilliant game. Must've been a magic time at the
Pub Paul, I'm jealous I wasn't there, my loss

Personally I'm pleased to say - "you beat me"
