Well, I looked over the web page (overlooking it might've been better), and
I was laughing so hard it took me almost five minutes to fall asleep. Even
the web page is boring, with its interminable drag about naming the place.
Several versions, all mutually exclusive. All wrong? Maybe... I suspect
when habitation began there, someone asked, "How many people d'you think
ever would be crazy enough to live here?" and the answer was, of course....
I would nominate Valyermo, California, as a candidate for boring in the
USA. Not far from my home, it's not exactly bereft of facilities. There
will be found a Post Office, two ranches, a few houses, and one monastery.
Hardly a great center of red-hot night life....
