Hi Paul,
I *did* say that I thought that they were misguided rather than deserving of
oprobrium or contempt.
The problem seems to be that war in Iraq is widely perceived to mean massive
civilian casualties and I do not believe that to be likely (unless Saddam
decides to gas them himself...). We'll find out in little more than a day
now.
As I said, 'misguided' and 'well meaning' to start with but when faced with
the reality of the situation on the ground the penny seems finally to have
dropped. I have to admire their initial principle though.
