Reminds me of a very memorable QSO many years ago on 10M.  I contacted a 
ham in the former Rhodesia who was using his wooden leg for an antenna. 
  He would remove it when he was seated at the station and put it on top 
of the rig.  It had a metal running the length of it and loaded up 
nicely on 28Mc.
