[SOC] Field Day

I stopped by the local club(Greenfield,IN) to operate some CW for Field =
Day
and after standing there for a few moments I hear=20
no generator running but I see a box that's about twice=20
the size of a bread box hooked to a tank of hydrogen!!!
 it is a fuel cell from Central Indiana Power the local power company
there was 2 HF stations running 100 watts ,the VHF and the GOTA station =
plus
all the computer gear running. Small HF rigs running 160 meters to 70 cm =

and fuel cells for power a lot has changed since my novice days
