Good grief... that equates roughly to $A 3.50 for a half-pint compared to the $A
2.20 I pay at the Club.
Then again, go to a pub here and you'd pay close to that I expect. Nah, the
local pub charges $2.70.
Even in 1990 it was very expensive throughout the UK compared to Australia.
Presumably incomes were higher there. I never checked.
