Okay Paul... I almost hurt myself when I fell out of the chair laughing!
I've often heard it referred to as 'Weasel Piss', but I think gnat's piss is
probably more appropriate!
You brit's just keep on doing what you're doing. I've never found a British
beer I haven't liked, but I aim to continue my research!

Hi Mike,
I believe that the UK is the only place in the world that you can buy two
beers called Budweiser. The first is brewed in Czechoslovakia using just
malt, hops, yeast and water in a fashion similar to the German
"Reinheitsgebot". It's a well flavoured lager and just perfect for a summer
afternoon. The other one is gnat's piss.
I worked for fun periodically at my local pub, "The Shepherd and Dog" in
West Sussex. We served 'Bud' but it had to go through two chillers just in
case you ran the risk of actually tasting the stuff.
Sorry Mr Anheuser-Busch, sometimes the truth hurts.

p.s. And the American company keeps trying to stop the Czechs calling their
beer 'Budweiser' despite them having brewed the stuff under that name for
about 400 years. So far, thankfully, they've been laughed out of court
despite the big bucks brought to bear on the issue.
