[SOC] K1 resistor: aberration or mod?

OK, Nick...don't seem too likely for me to stop by,
but I'll try.

  On another note, I'm thinking I'm done with the SOC
list...gonna unsub...but I met some nice friends
there, all of whom I'll stay in touch with!
